Keep East Dunbartonshire Beautiful
Keep East Dunbartonshire Beautiful – in collaboration with Keep Scotland Beautiful https://www.keepscotlandbeautiful.org/ and East Dunbartonshire Climate Action Hub https://eastdunbartonshireclimateaction.org.uk/ and funded from The National Lottery Community Fund https://www.tnlcommunityfund.org.uk/ we have been able to install these litter picking stations with organisations around East Dunbartonshire.
Inspired by our member Ivor McClure who was always litter picking around East Dunbartonshire, in particular Lennoxtown, we decided to commission these stations from Kirkintilloch Men's' Shed to continue his legacy.
Please borrow the equipment and do your bit in your community. If you can please email wrced2020@gmail.com telling us where you borrowed the equipment, which area you conducted your litter pick and how many bags you managed to fill.

DOs
Borrow the equipment: picker, hoop and bags
Wear gloves provided
Always supervise children
Leave the green bag at a bin and the council street scene team will remove it
Bring the equipment back
Report any damage equipment to the organisation
Don’ts
DON'T Pick up hazardous items, like glass, needles, chemicals – report these to 0300 1234510
DON'T Forget to have fun – there is more to litter picking that picking litter!
